Hello everyone! It's busy times at the House of Poufs! I thought to share some updates of the acrylic work I've been working on. This is a set of 4 Mini-poufs, painted with acrylic on canvas. I have added some photos of the process below:
Canvas prep with Acrylic Gesso. I recently bought a big bottle of Daler Rowney. |
I am using Liquitex at the moment, which have proved to be very size convenient, although the mixture turns out to be a little bit light and dewey. |
The gesso dries up fast, so you can start layering with paint right away. |
After I finished the background, I start using ink markers. This usually takes some hours. |
